To access this course, you will need to first complete the module 'Introduction to eye health and vision care'. The course includes an overview of how to conduct a basic vision assessment, the vision and eye health requirements for driving in Australia, the risks to eye health associated with chronic disease and the impact of medium and long-term use of systemic medications on eye health.
The Advanced course aims to provide primary health and allied health professionals, Aboriginal Health Workers and Aboriginal Health Practitioners, with further information on specific topics related to eye health and vision care.
